The Department consists of three divisions as follows:

Appointment, Promotion & Discipline (APD)

Staff Welfare and Manpower Development

General Administrative Division:


  • General administration and the co-ordination of personnel activities concerning employment, career advancement, welfare and the overall maintenance of discipline of staff.
  • Maintenance, security and safety of the assets of the Bureau including insurance matters; manpower planning and budgeting, staff training and development, office accommodation and equipment as well as establishment matters, pension, gratuity and variation salary administration.
  • Information and interpretation of personnel policies and circulars; staff motivation and the development of professional human capacity especially ICT, for effective and efficient service delivery.
