Functions of II&M

  1. Maintaining of a comprehensive and up-to-date nominal roll of Federal, State, and Local Government employees resident in the State;
  2. Keeping and updating the list of political office holder’s residents in the state;
  3. Administering Asset Declaration Forms to all public officers resident in the State;
  4. Receiving and acknowledging completed Assets Declaration Forms;
  5. Forwarding petitions and complaints to the Zonal office;
  6. Assisting the zonal office in investigating petitions and complaints against public officials resident in the State;
  7. Verifying Asset Declarations by Federal, State, and Local Government public servants resident in the State;
  8. Verifying of Asset Declaration by State and Local Government political office holders with the exception of the Governors, Deputy Governors, and Commissioners;
  9. Assisting the Zonal office in carrying out its assignment;
  10. Public enlightenment on Code of Conduct for public officials; and
  11. Establishing channels of communication with the members of the public.
