The Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) has taken a decisive step in Nigeria’s anti-corruption drive, convening a landmark National Workshop on Strengthening Compliance with the Code of Conduct for Public Officers and the Deployment of the Online Assets and Liabilities Declaration System (OALDS) in Abuja, Federal Capital Territory.
The workshop brought together Heads of Service from across Nigeria’s 36 states and the FCT, alongside senior federal officials, lawmakers, anti-corruption agencies, and international development partners. Co-organised with the Federal Ministry of Justice, the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, and the Rule of Law and Anti-Corruption (RoLAC 2) Programme implemented by International IDEA with support from the European Union, the event reinforced the CCB’s position at the forefront of Nigeria’s transparency agenda.
At the close of deliberations, participants adopted a far-reaching Communiqué, signed by the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Bureau, Dr. Abdullahi Usman Bello, and endorsed by state Heafs of Service from across the federation
