The closing ceremony of the one-month maiden training programme for newly recruited officers of the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), held at the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Academy, Karu, Abuja, took place today, 14 September 2026, marking the successful completion of a strategic capacity-building initiative for CCB officers.

The ceremony gathered key stakeholders in Nigeria’s fight against corruption, including the Chairman of the Code of Conduct Bureau, Dr Abdullahi Usman Bello, Chairman, EFCC, Mr Ola Olukoyede; and representatives from the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Attorney-General of the Federation, Minister of Information and National Orientation, ICPC, NFIU, and other partners.
The training demonstrates the commitment of the CCB leadership to equipping its officers with the knowledge, skills, and professional capacity needed to effectively carry out their constitutional duties and promote ethics, accountability, transparency, and integrity in public service.

As the officers return to their respective posts, the CCB remains dedicated to strengthening a more ethical and accountable public service in Nigeria.
