FUNCTIONS
- Maintaining a comprehensive and up-to-date nominal roll of Federal, State, and Local Government employees resident in the state.
- Keeping and updating a list of political office holders residents in the state;
- Receiving and acknowledging completed Assets Declaration Forms;
- Administering Asset Declaration forms to all public officer’s residents in the state;
- Forwarding petitions and complaints to the Zonal office;
- Assisting the zonal office in investigating of petitions and complaints against public officials resident in the state.
- Verifying of Assets Declarations by Federal, State, and Local Government public servants resident in the state;
- Verifying of Asset Declaration by State and Local Government political office holders with the exception of the Governors, Deputy Governors, and Commissioners;
- Assisting the zonal office in carrying out its assignment;
- Public enlightenment on Code of Conduct for the public officials
- Establishing channels of communication with the members of the public.
