The Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB) commends the Human and Environment Development (HEDA) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), with the support of the MacArthur Foundation, for organizing a workshop at the RockView Hotel Royale in Abuja on Wednesday, July 10th, 2024.

This event is the 36th Anti-Corruption Situation Room with the theme “The Fight Against Corruption Under The Tinubu Led Administration: A Review of 1st Year In Office.”

Mr Olanrewaju Suraju, the Chairman of HEDA, spoke about their mission to serve as a policy and campaign centre for research, training, and advocacy on the environment, good governance, and human rights. He expressed his hope to see an Africa where all persons, regardless of location, have access to freedom and enjoy the benefits of good governance and human dignity in a sustainable environment.

Several government agencies, including NOA, EFCC, ICPC, AGF, and the Nigerian police, participated in the event. Additionally, Civil Society Organizations were in attendance at the workshop.
