The Chairman, Code of Conduct Bureau, Dr. Abdullahi Usman Bello, FCCA, FHEA, CFE, presented a paper at the 42nd Annual International Symposium on Economic Crime, held at the historic Jesus College, University of Cambridge.
The symposium, organised on a non-profit basis by leading global academic and research institutions, provides a unique platform for practical discussions on the challenges posed by cross-border crime, especially in cyberspace.
This year’s event brought together experts, policymakers, law enforcement, regulators,judges and academics from over 100 countries, exchanging insights on safeguarding economies and institutions against economically motivated crime amid growing geopolitical pressures.
The CCB delegation included five staff members and Board members, who actively participated in the sessions and engaged with international counterparts on strategies for combating economic and financial crimes.
